Rudy's Longest Tail Feather Competition

Rudy's Longest Tail Feather Competition has not been activated yet.  Please check back often as this contest will open without notice

Rules
To enter Sportsman's Choice Taxidermy's Longest Tail Feather Competition you must legally harvest a Ringneck Pheasant and enter it into our FREE contest.  Your bird is automatically entered into the contest once you complete your order of a mounted bird through Sportsman's Choice Taxidermy.  In addition to your harvested bird you must supply us with one tail feather to be measured by a Sportsman's Choice Taxidermy staff member.  Upon entering the contest your tail feather becomes property of Sportsman's Choice Taxidermy and will not be returned to the person that supplied the feather.  This is to insure us that tail feathers are not being used for multiple contests from year to year.  The tail feather supplied may be from a different specimen and also detached from the specimen.  A detached tail feather will obviously give you a better chance at winning the grand prize because we will be able to measure the full length of the feather. You may opt out of using a tail feather from another specimen and opt to use your trophies actual tail feather.  The disadvantage of this is the fact the tail feather has to be attached to the bird and the quill will not be measured.  Tail feathers will be measured to the nearest 16th of an inch.

Prizes
Grand Prize for this contest will have a value of at least $150.00 (free mount) for the winner depending on what is decided upon by the Sportsman's Choice Taxidermy contest staff.  No prizes/honors will be awarded unless a minimum of ten contestants enter this FREE contest.  If the minimum amount of contestants in the contest is less than ten Sportsman's Choice will give each contestant a 10% discount on their next order.
